The block was sent off to Golden Eagle for the sleeve work and APR main studs were installed. Golden Eagle sleeves are known in the import drag racing world to be some of the strongest and highest in quality:

DPR did the bore and hone, decked the block, and balanced and polished the crankshaft to exact specifications:

Import Builders hooked us up with these amazing Wiseco 89mm strutted and gas ported pistons. These pistons will help save on weight and friction while increasing ring seal. Import Builders has some of the most advanced piston designs on the market:


Eagle rods from Speed Machine Performance will help hold things together at high rpms:

DPR's head work is by far the best in the business. Dan Paramore has over 35 years of experience and a powerful reputation for high quality cylinder heads and engine modifications. The Calico coated surfaces help contain heat to the combustion chambers and exhaust ports, keeping oil temperatures down while increasing horsepower and efficiency:

Crower Stage 3 cams and Ferrea valves, valve springs, and retainers are supplied by DPR and then coated in Microlon before assembly. Microlon is a dry film lubricant that dramatically reduces friction and engine wear:

Golden Eagle cam gears and fuel rail are courtesy of Golden Eagle themselves. The Skunk2 intake manifold was first ported and port matched by DPR, then sent to Calico to get coated inside and out. Speed Machine Performance provided the 70mm STR throttle body:

The custom 4-1 header should work great with the rest of the engine setup:
